Was antiqueing in catoosa today and saw this beauty behind the counter for 75$. Made an offer for 60$ and it was accepted. The seller was not the maker, and I was just curious if anyone recognized maybe the sheath, as there is no identifiable marks I can see on the knife itself.

Also what do you think the material is? Leaf spring, lawnmower blade, pot metal? Good deal or no? It is nearly shaving sharp .

Yes, I love Kukris and handmade blades. Put them together and there is something special and awesome.

The sheath may be later made, but something about the blade makes me think it might be real. I knew a guy 40 years ago that carried one very similar to that one. I know for a fact he bought it in Nepal from a local maker.

    Anyway great find.
