Does anyone know how to remove the fine scratches in the high gloss blueing on smiths. It only shows if using a flashlight in the dark or if you are in the sunlight. I would really like to polish them out. Will never dull or some polish work? Is it to abrasive. I also though about automotive wax but i read somewhere that was only advisable for guns that were not being used. It looks like someone wiped them down with a paper towel or something with dust on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can wax guns that get used. It may actually fill the scratch in and make it invisible. It won't last more than a few sessions of serious shooting, though.
