Shotgun Sam's Frank's Country Inn Casa Bonita (with the original owners - back in the 70's) Casa Bonita started in OKC, went there many times when I was in college. You're right about the Ma Bell's being on Admiral----I remember it was very similar to Bevo's in Edmond. How many of you are old enough to remember "The Forge" restaurant, in the strip center just east of southroads just about where the Scottrade office is now? ---My wife still talks about their french onion soup, and the sandwiches. What about Lum's? It was a sandwich place on South Sheridan, north of 51st street, west side of Sheridan. Looboyle's was a great place to go at Southroad's, but how many of you are old enough to have gone to Looboyles back before that when it was on South Xanthus, just north of 11th street. Or Oertle's, when it was still on 11th street between Utica and Lewis, before they moved to S. Memorial between 21st and 31st? Or the original Pennington's Drive Inn? Shakey's Pizza on East Admiral? Cotton's Drive Inn on East Admiral?
