Howdy fellas! Just a friendly reminder that we have some amazingly nice weather forecast for this weekend, which should stay in the 70s the whole time with sunny skies. Project Appleseed will be out at Excalibur Sporting Goods in Afton, OK this weekend teaching and practicing the fundamentals of rifle marksmanship from field positions, and shooting Army Qualification Tests. If you've been wanting to come, or if you live around Tulsa but are unable to make the USSA Appleseed on Easter weekend, then there is no better time to come out and get the Appleseed experience. Bring your rifles and about 400 rounds of ammo. Center fire, rimfire, it's all good. Online registration closes tonight, but if you don't get a chance to register don't worry -- just come anyway and pay cash. We will have plenty of room on the line for you. Online registration is $70 for the weekend or $45 for one day, and walk-on registration is $80 for the weekend and $50 for one day. Everyone will also need to pay a $10 range fee to our host, unless you're active duty military. Believe me, it is a bargain... you will not get this level of quality training at anywhere close to this price any place else. You can camp at the range, or stay in one of the nearby motels. Here is the link to the info page on the shoot, including how to register: http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=27198.0 See you on the firing line! henschman
