HA I figured you were not my neighbor.
I have needed an odd size bolt before and took a regular sized one and ground the threads off and took my tap and die set and threaded it to what I needed.
That is bad I know..I have also welded 2 together to make a longer one..Yes I cut the head off of one of them.

Stripped a head bolt hole in the block in a 350 oldsmobile..old rusty! I just tapped it for larger fine thread bolt and drilled the head hole larger.
Grip screw problem could be solved by tapping it to a more standard size maybe something you have laying around.

This is when you absolutely do not have other choices though.
Yea I will jack some stuff up to make it work :)

I noticed the can of NeverDull sitting up on the shelf too. It's good stuff, but not as good as DuraGlit, wouldn't you agree?
