Dose anybody know if you can shoulder ar pistol brace in Oklahoma and if you can own one? Done all the research I could and couldn't find anything
As of right now (and we know how that can change) yes, you can shoulder a brace as it doesn't change what the brace was designed for. The current viewing on it is similar to how you can use the mag as forward grip. Doesn't change the fact its a mag, just you are using differently than it was intended.
Last I heard, yes you can shoulder it. Saw an article on the ruling. I wasn’t very happy because I just got my tax stamp to make mine an SBR. Lol.
If you should have to use it to defend yourself, then it should be a One-Sided story.lol
A couple things to consider.
1. You placed the brace on the pistol and intend to use it as designed. Occasionally, you can shoulder it, but as a brace, not a stock.
2. Keep it factory, as is. Removing retention straps from the brace defeat the purpose of the brace, could be interpreted as you not intending to use it as a brace or originally designed.
3. Don't call it a STOCK!
