Wow, that's a nice discount! Of course, I'm sure that's off MSRP, which is a little less impressive than street price, but still. Very cool.

And yes, lots of Vortex out there, they are great scopes with a great transferable warranty.

I've switched everything to Vortex.
I currently have a Sparc II, a Sparc AR, Strike Eagle, a Venom red dot and a Viper 6.5-20x50
I've been very impressed with all of them, and the warranty if something were to happen, should keep me happy.

Another vote for the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x. I just got one for my 16" AR, and have been pretty impressed with it. At the price point, the only thing that I would like would be an "Off" position between the settings for the illumination.

Depends on its intended purpose. Shooting deer at over 500 yds needs a Nikon Monarch.
