Jimmy and I are going to make a road trip to Ardmore to deliver cash from sale of the Rossi .22 rifle that Jimmy donated for sale (and any donations) as well as immediately needed items on Wednesday, Dec 23 of next week. This to benefit Catt57's sister and her kids who many of you may know just lost their house to fire. We will have the money from the sale of the gun that Jimmy donated, (at the time of this post it's still available) plus I have some linens, towels, games, a few items of clothing etc so far. In Catt57's initial thread, there is a short list of items greatly needed NOW, like clothing with sizes etc.

If you'd like to donate either cash or goods, for immediate help, you may drop them off at either Jimmy's house or mine through next Tuesday night. Jimmy lives near Baptist Hospital and I am in Yukon near Reno and Mustang Road.

PM either of us for our exact adress if you want to make sure those kids have some sort of Christmas this year. Thank you and God Bless those who have so far participated. Please make sure you can bring donations to one or the other of our homes by next Tuesday evening, December 22nd.

What size clothes does the mom need?
    Kids sizes? Male, female?
I'm sorry I missed that rifle fundraiser

    Edit; found it

I do know she asked for stuff for the kids. She said they like crafts.
Kids clothes sizes are girl 16/18 in juniors and boy in size 12/14 in boys.
She wears 7-10 in women's, medium in t-shirts, and size 9 shoes

    I'm speechless.

While they need everything, unfortunately there is no where for them to store much. For the time being it's mostly just immediate essentials.

We had a similar event here at work, friend of one of the employees lost everything in a fire - 5 kids, all under 8. They moved in with an aunt, our office 'adopted' them. Each kid now has a stack of at least 8 presents, parents have a smaller stack, too.

We have been blessed this year to be able to pitch in and help out those who aren't as fortunate. For as tough as the year was, God has blessed us immensely.

In order to elaborate on "Mission Accomplished" - A big thank you to all who jumped in to help Catt57's sister and her two kids. We were able to deliver $1,350.00 in cash to a very grateful lady. We told her the OSA member's here wanted to make sure that she and her kids had a very Merry Christmas. Great job in reaching out to help somebody!

I just want to add. As near as I can tell OSA members also accounted for nearly $1000 of the GoFundMe donations as well.

Thank you all. My sister is beside herself with gratitude to you all.
