Thanks for the input guys. He is going to send a cashiers check. He doesn’t know that I am going to call the bank and verify that it’s legit before I send anything out. Anything out of the ordinary I’ll just send it back
yes good idea just keep in mind, a cashiers check can have a stop put on it after it is issued....... call and verify that it's valid, then deposit/cash it, then wait a few days before shipping.

I thought the main purpose of a certified cashier's check is that it guarantees payment. You actually have to buy the things up front.

I would only do it if it is from a bank that has a branch here where you can cash it before shipping the gun.
