This is probably one of them. The few interactions I’ve had with ATF agents (back when I owned machineguns) were very different than popular opinion. They were very helpful is getting issues resolved with a dealer who wasn’t doing business like he should have. I’m not saying that the entire agency is that way, but keep in mind that they’re federal employees and when a politician pushes a button, the stuff we don’t like starts rolling downhill.
