Barrel threading okc, Norman, chickasha area

Needing a barrel threaded or two. Live in Blanchard and looking for someone semi local to do it. A heavy barrel savage 6.5 is the main one I’m after.

Any “gunsmiths” or machinists that offer this in south okc, Moore, Norman, Purcell, chickasha, Newcastle, Tuttle, minco, Lindsay area?

I've had DZ Arms thread barrels in the past. They are over off I44 on the opposite side of the interstate from Earlywine Golf Course. Quality of work is top shelf; price was reasonable.

There is a guy in Newcastle, goes by Wells Armament I think. I have not used him, I spoke with him on the phone and he sounded ok.

I thought of another guy, could be close to you, just south of Blanchard. Whisky Six Tactical, never used him for gunsmith work, just transfers. A young Marine reservist, great guy, he has a range, puts on classes, and training.

I think they do contract work for military/aircraft industry. The gunsmithing is only a small part of what they do. I've been very happy with the turn around time and quality of the work. I've take stuff there for at least 15 years.
