Three days ago received three blue tongue skinks; two wild caught adults out of Indonesia, and a captive bred out of Florida. FedEx brought them to the door, they were sent via overnight delivery.

The adults are a breeding pair, and the captive bred is a juvenile. Here is the adult female in a water pan in the 120 gallon terrarium.

Overcome with by the cat food aroma of chicken gibblets in gravey, the juvenile attempts to bit off part of the feeding dish.

Thanks! I've had lots of snakes, and a monitor. I'm glad I went this route, because I don't have to mess with live feeder mice, and unlike monitors, these guys max out at around 24".

Yesterday I got some good equipment in; two heating rocks with adjustable thermostats, and an additional double dome heating lamp. These babies come in and out of their hiding cave, and don't retreat when touched. Am training them by laying down on the bed and letting them eat from a bowl while on my chest.

Edit: The one is the pic is a big female. I had read where this species can't be kept together, so I had a divider between them in the 120. But that didn't work out - they quickly scaled it and are constantly in each others company, so I removed it. The 120 is looking better now than in these photos from last week, and I'll get some updated pics posted soon.
