Belgium made Browning serial number dates to 1920

I'm writing this for my boyfriend. He is not a computer person at ALL. lol. He just recently got some guns out he has had stored for 20 years. I have looked and looked for the value of his Belgium made Browning 16 gauge shotgun. I did find the serial numbers and it was made in 1920. It looks like the Sweet Sixteen was the popular gun. It was made later like in the 1948 range. But if anyone has any info on this old gun I would greatly appreciate it. It seems like I'm more curious than he is about the value and history.
