Ive had this skirmish for a few years now, and just recently got it back from my ex after it not being with me for about 2 years. Anyways, it had been neglected and some surface rust on the blade, and the titanium handles were scratched to hell. Decided to give Harsh Firearms a chance at it to see how good he was. Charged me a very fair price to bead blast this and then cerakote it graphite black. It really looks amazing. He wasn't able to do one of the frame spacers because he didn't have a way to hold it and get coverage with the cerakote without screwing it up, so I decided to do a dull bead blast on all of the screws and spacers. Anyways, let me know what you guys think about it. I think it looks sick as hell. Now I just need to have someone professionally resharpen the blade! Harsh Firearms did a fantastic job on it, and would recommend his cerakoting service to anyone! Not to mention, I dropped it off, and had it back the next day.

That is one nice looking BM. If you are wanting the blade sharpened, send it back to BM and use their Life Sharp service. It will cost you 5 bucks to cover return shipping and you would be hard pressed to find a better edge after they are done with it. If you do decide to send it in, make a note on the form that you want NOTHING done to the knife while it's there. They have a tendency to replace the clip and do a tune up on everything else.

The edge from Life Sharp is way better than the edge they come with when purchased new.

I agree on sending nto BM for the Lifesharp service, that is how I take care of all of my BM knives.

Question, why not send it to BM the first time around to have them R&R the knife for you?

The knife was barely used at all, just mistreated while the ex had possession of it. It was smooth as glass, and locked up tight. No real reason to send it in beforehand
