Can anyone tell me anything about this shotgun? Is it good quality? Is it worth $900? How would it compare to a Remington 1187? Just need some opinions.

One of the best Upland guns available! It compares to a 1187 like an English Setter to a PitBull.

Great upland guns, especially the 20 gauge. The 12ga doesn't stand out as much against the new glut of sub 7lb auto loaders on the market. $900 would be a great price on a new one. If it's used it should be lnib, with case, shims, 5 chokes, etc. Also make sure the aluminum mag plug is with it.
