I used to have Beretta 1201 FP that I left loaded in my closet - on purpose. After a few months I took it out to shoot and had nothing but malfunctions. I took it apart and found the magazine spring was compressed from the gun being loaded and it stayed that way. It wasn't overlapping coils - it just did not expand again to push the shells out. It was a fast shooting gun. Do you keep yours loaded all the time? I kinda like the A300 but I already keep a Maverick 88 in my closet with the OPSOL adapter and buck shot mini-shells. The A300 might make a good hog gun I guess for when I'm on foot and not in a stand - or that would be my story anyhow.</blockquote>
