He is drawing more crowds than Hillary at the moment.
Do I think he will win the ticket? No.

He is the candidate that will make Hill go more left. Good thing for the R's?

He is drawing HUGE crowds in Iowa and New Hampshire. They are dwarfing Hillary's as a matter of fact. But right now they are just throwing the pie in the sky stuff out there and it plays well to most everyone. When they get into the nuts and bolts of things he's going to have to justify his 90% tax rate on the rich and he will blow away like a leaf in the wind.

Sanders is an outright statist commie through and through whether he's honest about it or not. Anybody that votes for him with the intention to elect him to office can't claim to be in any way conservative. Sanders is the anti-America vote for sure. Actually all of the democrats have been for years but Sanders is the poster child.

I certainly don't agree with Bernie on all the issues. However, he is an anomaly...the most honest politician one could ask for...he has a long voting record to prove it. He doesn't support all out gun bans (and has voted against them), but does support some gun control measures. He's Jewish with many socialist viewpoints (just as Jesus was/is). However, he's really an Independent, and it shows because he doesn't have a strict socialist or liberal or progressive platform. He's an odd 3rd partier because he doesn't fit in any nice political category/stereotype/box you may have. He's supported military personnel and veterans like no other, and has worked tirelessly to obtain support for them in various ways. He's the only candidate where I have some Democrat friends, some Republican friends, and some "other" friends who are all supporting him (never happened in my lifetime, at this scale), and is capturing interest like wildfire. He practices what he preaches, and always has. When I line up all the issues, there isn't a Republican or Democrat running that represents me as an individual (probably because I'm neither), but Bernie definitely matches more issues than anyone else. I struggle with the gun control issue, but I get some comfort by knowing that rarely does one individual (i.e., the President) make laws of such magnitude...they usually require votes by large bodies of representatives. I think at this point in time, Bernie would be great for our country. I hope like hell he beats Clinton so we don't have to worry about her getting into office; then I'll take a hard look at who his Republican opponent will be; but at this point, I hope he goes all the way.

I heard he drew more than 10,000 last weekend in Wisconsin or one of those states in that area.
NO candidate D or R, has even came close.
I'm wondering what demographic he is attracting?

I liken Hillary jumping into the race as a self defense measure. I don't think she had a choice, otherwise she would be looking at an indictment. It also could very well get her elected to the position she's coveted all her life. I think Sanders is doing so well because everybody knows she's so damn dirty she's dripping mud. Tom Clancy was an outright friggin genius at spinning an intertwined novel. The book Clinton Cash makes his work look high school level.

YG, I see what you are saying about Sanders but I disagree. He's too dangerous with his positions. His positions are just wrong and history proves it to anyone who objectively takes a look. He's dangerous because Congress may as well not even exist. Look at how many RINOs voted to confirm the last two SCOTUS nominees and Lynch for AG. They have somehow been brainwashed into believing that anyone that has a decent resume has to be confirmed just because of "executive courtesy". When Lynch stated that she thought that Obama's executive order on amnesty was constitutional she just proved for all the world to see that she's not qualified to hold the office. But to the legislative branch her resume and selection by POTUS trumps upholding the constitution as it is written and intended. They just blindly follow along out of politically correct courtesy.
:puke:

And besides, we really can't afford another lame duck for 4 years, they got a whole lot of stuff to fix.
