Ok, just to please Burk and Joel, I made the deal on the SR1911 commander lightweight 9mm. Don't have it yet but it is waiting for me. Now to get Grips, extra mags and a few odds and ends.

Awesome. Mine is becoming a favorite.

Nice to see an older Series I CDP.... back when they did an honest melt job.

Don't see how you figure the operators are less aggressive though LOL. That's all I put on my 1911s.

The melt job is a thing of beauty.

There is no grip that VZ makes more agressive than the Aliens
