I think the older S&W K22 is supposed to be super nice too if you can ever find one.

I have one that I picked up at an auction. Sweetest trigger you'll ever pull on a revolver.

The best I've owned is my current S&W 617 10 shot.

The 617 is an excellent choice.

The sweetest .22 I ever had was the K22 Combat Masterpiece (Pre Model 18). The single action trigger was unbelievable!

I've been reading up on the internet about .22 wheel guns & I'm hearing a lot of good things on the old K22s, which have been mentioned here too. I may have to try to see if I can locate one.

I shoot an old high standard double 9. Its actually marked western auto stores not high standard. It has most the finish work off like was carried alot but still shoots GREAT! I love the thing double action 9 shooter and the looks of a single action. My dad has single six very good shooting .22, his first hand gun when he turned 21.

I would love a smith k frame .22 would go nice with my two model 10-5's
