Big hole in ground ?

I have some type of BURROW in the ground.
It is actually pretty darn big.
The hole is about 8" by 8" or so.
Seems to be dug in in 45 degree angle or so.

I am wondering what it might be.

Coons are in the trees, so it must be an armadilla , or what else ?

If it's around your foundation fill the hole with concrete after you make sure there are no wires torn up. These guys are such strong diggers that they will pull cable and conduit out like it's nothing. We had one take the cable out and we couldn't figure what was wrong until we went under the house....

it is not anywhere near a house, but looks more like the armadillo hole than the other...

My money is on an armadillo.

Armadillo or Badger. We have both in NC Okla.
Badgers are really destructive, and not afraid to challenge you in a face-off.

I had dens like that in the field behind my house. I thought it was dillos till the morning Mr Badger was a little angry about my proximity to him...

Bet my neighbors never saw a fat guy move like that...
