This is the windmill farm I'm working on in Lawton right now.

There's 9 different lines, or sections, of windmills on the property, for a total of 67 windmills. This a view down A line.

This is the yard where everything is staged until the location is ready.

This is B line.

My company car. Its ugly and slow, but it has AC.

This is one of the concrete platforms that will support the windmill. Its goes down about 25 feet. Eventually, most of it will be filled in and covered with rock.

This is the boom truck that my cousin is out here running.

Magnum, I work for a switchgear/generator control company. Any chance you could get pics of any of the electrical equipment? Are there any black-start generators there to supplement power when the wind is low?

I don't have a clue what any of that means, I'm just a simple fork lift operator. What electrical equipment are you wanting pics of? If I have some downtime, I may able to poke around and get some pics.

Being I and a few others here work for DMI, I have to ask. Who made the towers?
I have no idea, I just run a fork lift.

I don't believe black-starts are something that are supposed to be talked about on an internet forum...but I can't think of a reason why there would be one at a wind farm.

Cool pics man!
