Also 10 hp will have to be registered with state and have a tag. That's why a lot of manufacturers have 9.9 hp motors. Also I have had the smaller flat bottom john boats...never again, I'm not that agile any more. I have a 12' semi v bottom that I like and it's only rated for 7.5 hp.</p></blockquote><p></p>
