Hey All, I've been getting a "hankering" for some boiled peanuts. Since its Mardi Gras time, it got me to thinking about Louisanna and Mississippi. Which in turn got me to thinking about food, which in turn got me to thinking about boiled peanuts........psychosomatic disorder.....yes!!! I know I can buy them on-line, I know I can use recipes and cookup my own, what I want to know is.... Has anyone seen them in the grocery stores in Oklahoma......Tulsa....S.E.Oklahoma?? If so, what store and location?? Would like to take a road trip to the store!! I can get Boudin(pronounced boo..dan) here in OKC, just not the boiled peanuts. **Yes, they will be canned and not fresh** I have never seen a roadside stand in Oklahoma....rightly so. This is a true deep South food item!! ***Remember.....not roasted, not raw, not flavored....boiled....boiled peanuts.
