Borderlands 2 anyone? went to community day BTW...(nerd thread)

went down to gearbox community day in dallas. not really wanting too, cause i detest lines, and i am not THAT big of a nerd.... had a good time though... anyone else go? i saw an ofast shirt, but that was it...


for those that dont game and are wondering wtfork i am talkin aboot, gearbox makes videogames. they did the brothers in arms series, borderlands, working on an aliens game, they brought duke nukem forever outta like a 20 year holding pattern.


heres my bro and his wife gettin their first taste of the game

the girl with her back to me made a remote control claptrap, was good stuff!! she was the runner up to the guy behind her, who dressed up as the new character zero...he made a microprocessor that made his face shield display stuff just like it does in game, allegedly. the guy in front of her is the voice of claptrap, and the girl to his right is a model that dresses up as lillith

i won a raffle! had my choice of some stuff, but this is what i came out with. was probably 2 to 3 thouasand peeps there...so its pretty good odds. its a gaming keyboard (that i dont need, that i had some of the develpment team sign, and the ceo...good stuff. think i gonna ebay it and give the proceeds to JPFO, thatll tick off ebay!!! and paypal

if anyone else is gettin it we need to swap gamer tags so we can get after it, btw

Looks like you had fun! BL and other first-person shooters aren't my speed; I prefer MMORPG's like Guild Wars 2. No, I've never played WoW and have no desire to!

The only game I can justify buying is call of duty. I play mayyyybe once a week if im lucky, less and less as I get older.

A little over 13 hours until I pick up my copy tonight. This is by far one of my favorite game series.
