First of all, Happy Birthday, sir! The good Doctor is being humble... If Dave got out & shot even a fraction of how much he wants to, the dude would be a serious contender. He did very well, I thought, and got deep enough in that if the shooters were broken into separate classes, he may have been the proud owner of a pretty bowling pin! I, on the other hand, sucked. Pretty darn disappointed in myself. My second attempt "at bat" wouldn't have been the worst if I had carried at least one more magazine to the line... I got smoked so hard on my first time up that I didn't even expect to get to do a mag change on my second go 'round.(I didn't on the first!) Naturally, I was wrong. Made decent time on the first four pins and absolutely choked on the fifth. Suxxors. Had to stand there with an empty gun and wait for the lady, (yes, lady) to finish me off in slo-mo...... The agony of defeat. Oh woe is me. Mistakes were made that shan't be repeated. But, it was a fun experience and it was nice to hang out with and observe some really good shooters. Ol' Keith & family have done well for themselves and his passion for the shooting sports is shining through. The range is really cool and the store is looking better than ever. Really glad I went and am looking forward to going again.
