Broken pvc pipe repair

It even cause the drywall next to the pipe to become brittle so I had to remove it as you can see in the picture. The pipe goes straight up into my attic and then there is another elbow. How can I remove this broken part or the whole pipe and install a new one? Aren’t they glued together? Any help would be much appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
