Both orders are cutting off THIS Tuesday as I have a landowner that just closed on a piece of property and wishes to plant this season. The BFO's and the 4 X 4 will be ordered Tuesday and should arrive on Friday in time for weekend planting. I have already advised the BFO producer of their order so they can prep Tuesday morning. I have several bags of 4 X 4 in stock already. I try to assist everyone. It is still too early for planting BFO's for optimum success. They should be planted around mid September. The daylight is shorter and the nights are cooler. September is typically rainy. The fields are gaining moisture content that has been lost during the hot weather. The later these cold tolerant oats are planted the better they will be. If they are planted now there is a distinct possibility that September will heat back up and what oats that have sproated can wither and die. I have seen this happen before. You would have wasted time and money and you will have to do it again at greater expense. Be patient, it WILL happen. Bassin has planted BFO's almost since the beginning of when I first trialed them. Sticky Stokes as well. They have not had any failures. Both have orders again for this year. I don't sell failures.......... I sell success, if people will follow instructions. Be patient it WILL happen
