If their assy line is anywhere near up to date, they would have a laser or proximity probe to catch any short rounds going down the line. Thats elementary QC that is common in the MFG world.It couldn't catch a loose crimp though, and if the box hit the ground hard during shipping, it could have resulted in set back. I've never had anything but good service from Remington.
