Anyone else still keeping up this way of eating? I've gone from 286# down to around 228# in a relatively short amount of time 6-8 months, but have paid the price with telogen effluvium. For those not in the know, it is hair loss/thinning due to rapid weight loss. I've been bouncing back and forth from the diet due to the holidays, but transitioning back on the wagon now that the festivities are in the rear view mirror. My question is has anyone else experience the hair thinning scenario? If so, how long till it goes back to normal? My google-fu varies from a couple of months to a year. I'm hoping it's the former so I can go back to using normal shampoo instead of just for men hair dye. The thinning along with the gray patches made it look a lot worse than it should. Still love how easy it is to lose weight on carnivore, but wish I would have been more informed on the hair thing as I would have been more conscious on my protein intake and calorie consumption to not drop lbs too fast causing my follicle stress. Hindsight is 20/20 and still glad I tried this way of eating as the absence of inflammation far outweighs the hair issues.
