The shooting animals that worries your animals is in reference to protecting your livestock, if I remember right.

Most mail carriers I know carry regular pepper spray. My understanding is that bear spray isn’t more potent, and can in some cases be less potent. It just has better range and more volume.

You could be right. I don’t remember the specific wording, but I don’t remember anything specific about the type of animal being worried or threatened.

My mom was at the dog park as the situation was being resolved. Dude went to the dog park, took his small dog into the large dog area, and then shot that husky. There’s so much wrong with the guys actions, and it was not justified at all, his life was not in danger; but rather, his dog had gotten into a fight. And he discharged his firearm in a park full of people.

state statute 4-41 details this. It’s essentially the right to kill in defense of livestock paragraph.
