CBS News appears to have deceptively edited footage of the police shooting of 13-year-old Adam Toledo, according to researchers on social media.
In bodycam footage of the March 29 shooting, Toledo can be seen holding a pistol just before a Chicago police officer shoots him.
However, in video of the shooting uploaded to Twitter by CBS News, the frame showing Toledo holding the gun is missing, making it appear as though police fired on an unarmed teen.
Footage from a nearby security camera shows Toledo toss the gun behind the fence half-a-second before being shot.
The deceptive edit was called out by various researchers on social media.
