Changing counties.

About two weeks ago I submitted my packet through the Oklahoma COunty Sheriff's office. Next week I am moving to Cleveland County. Will this affect my background check? Do I need to notify the OSBI of my address change or anything like that? Lastly how will I know when my permit is ready?

I would think you need to notify the Sheriffs Dept. in the county you applied for your CCW since you have to pick up the license in person. Then notify OSBI on the change of address. Just thinking out loud.

You have to file a change of address with the OSBI within 10 business days of your move. I think it costs $25.

We moved while I was waiting for mine. The move was in town, but I just sent an email to OSBI, got a response within a few minutes that they would update the info. I would start with that and see if they have a recommendation.
