Looking for a cheap deer rifle for my kids to use. Prefer a .243 or similar caliber with a scope and ready to hunt. Looking to spend $300 or less. Thanks

Savage Axis, watch around you may find them on sale. New, regular price is $250-$300, my boy got one on sale for $200 a little while back.

Several good bolt guns out there. I'm not a fan of the cheap single shots, triggers are terrible out of the box.
