FWIW, you can make a cheap stand with a 55 gallon drum and a piece of plywood. Just screw/nail the plywood to a 2"x4" frame that fits snugly over the end of the barrel.
I used a skill-saw (bolted to the underside) and this method to rig a cheap table saw when I laid some flooring several years ago. You also could screw the frame to the barrel if desired (I didn't, and it worked fine).
Just a thought.
