As it turned-out, it appears that someone had stolen a similar style truck and switched the license plate with one of our company trucks.  Don't know how long it has been that way.  In any event, we sent someone to retrieve the employee but our truck has been impounded until we can get a replacement license plate installed.What a hassle and loss of productivity.  The work the employee was sent to do did not get done, one of our trucks is out of commission, we have to send someone to report a stolen tag and get a replacement, and we have to retrieve our truck from impoundment in another town.  I sure wish I could catch a thief in the act of his BS.</blockquote>
