I had 3 head gasket failures in 82000 miles. Finally developed a lower end knock.  Some of the fuel system parts are hard to come by since there is a lack of buildable cores.  Especially with the ULSD fuel.  IMHO You are good to go if you plan on replacing the motor at some point in time.  Also replace the torque converter to work with the gas motor.  (Been there done that).  Also plan on the truck losing some value with such a swap.  You can build a decent 350 fairly cheap.  And dont forget about the hybrid motors such as a 377. 400 block with a 350 crank.</p></blockquote><p></p>
