Have been around the the 6.2l and the 6.5. Both were company trucks and both had problems. The 6.2l was gutless and was traded in for the 6.5l because of constant breakdowns and lack of power. The 6.5l definately had more power, still had issues as well. You may be able to get the suburban for next to nothing, but weigh your cost of getting back on the road, most likely diesel repair as well. All this said, a guy I know in Enid has a green 4x4 suburban with a 6.2l with over 350,000 miles and has had very few problems................many trannies though.</p></blockquote><p></p>
