Reference the Z-71 thread, BIGGSLY had a cam go out on his 6.0. I have a '09 6.0 Silverado and the cam went out last year at about 25K. I suspect it was related to the active fuel management. The dealer repaired it under warranty but I'm afraid it's getting ready to do it again. Also, on a cold start with outside air temp around 50, my truck will immediately idle up to almost 2500 rpm for no reason, then idle back down to normal. It's random and I said something about it to the dealer and he said "it's normal....". Of course I know better than to take it in to have them fix it unless it's doing that all the time. It's not throwing a code and I suspect it to be a vacuum leak. Any thoughts?
