Somewhere around $1.00 a round kind of takes the honey off those $80 Steyr's.

But, you'll be hard pressed to beat $119 for a T53. You just have to take your chances online.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. Yes, as perplexed said, each country has it's own crest/arsenal marks.The Polish are reputed to be the best. They show an 11 in a circle.

The only thing about the new batch of Type 53's is they have that horrible billboard import stamp on the side of the receiver instead of the small discreet stamp under the barrel near the muzzle.

I'ev had one T53 over the years, got it from omega weapons systems in arizona for cheap, it had maybe 30% bluing but the bore was sharp and shiny and the bayonet was sharpened to a point. I think i sold it to another OSA member a few years ago.
