Actually "yewt" is from "My cousin Vinny".
Tell that to Google.. Lol
Vinny would probably have spelled it "yout," shortened from "youth."
You got that right!!! Its not just watching out for high prices either.
Yeah, paying too much is one thing - that's your own darn fault. But, totally getting screwed over is something else entirely!
Exactly. I always look at a persons profile and post history, if I don’t at least know OF them from participating here on OSA, to find out a little about them before doing business with them. As has already been said, you might be surprised at the people who only post things for sale here and do not participate at all. There is at least one guy selling a whole bunch of different stuff in the classifieds now that is for a large part, over retail prices, and he has no interest apparently in doing anything else here on OSA but grubbin’ money out of people’s pockets. He doesn’t care about the “community”, he’s just out to make a buck by selling his high-priced junk. And as (I think) W.C. Fields said, “there’s a sucker born every minute.” Don’t be that guy.

Ehhh, that "community" stuff is highly overrated. I got the runaround from a long-time forum member I'd done good deals with before. I learned my lesson and my circle of who I trust is practically non-existent now. Buyer beware, I don't care how long or how fine a member is here. That won't happen to me again.
P. T. Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute.
W.C. Fields said " I like children, fried."
He also said, "I never drink water. I know what fish do in it."
