    didn't they find the 16" battleship barrels in storage ponds in mcalester? wonder what else is stashed there

    Current rumor is they're working through the second thousand from the Army, and everyone should know within two or three weeks whether their order was one of those filled.

    Don't know about those stories, but I've hunted McAlester AAD about 6 times in different areas. Some of the locks on those bunkers haven't been opened in many, many years. Maybe they are empty? Don't know.

    There was a bunch of 16" ammunition stored there around '99-'00; don't know about barrels.

    And you should have sold them to me! I've wanted an IBM carbine for some time as I worked for IBM at one time.

    What is the difference in the M1 carbine slides V1 V2 V3 V4 , I need a new one for my 1944 win round top , I see prices from $65 to $300 for them --Serco-nurich -james river or is there a welder in BA / Tulsa who could tig it for maybe $50 . It broke were the rod and body meet
