If we had 51 Senators with his fiscal inclinations, we could get the budget properly straightened out. He's a representative in a representative democracy. We elect the person whom we feel in our best interests. Then he does so. If we feel he has failed at that mission, he can lose the next election. Point is, I don't expect him to agree with me on every single point of every single issue. I respect the man and his general ideology.
