I ordered some AR components recently and they came in on Thursday. I was going to try to put them on myself but after one failed attempt, I decided to have Steve at Cold Hand Arms install them for me. I called him up and he said bring it in and he would have it ready for me the next day. When I showed up he was very busy but he took out time to identify what I wanted done. After we chatted for a few minutes, he agreed to just do it right then. I was exchanging a two piece carbine length handguard for a rifle length VTAC single piece. This instalation required removal of the front sight tower and reinstalling a low profile gas block. During the instalation process, we discovered that the gas block I had purchased was a little out of spec and would not fit my barrel. Steve, basically swaped me even for a better quality Yankee Hill product. Within 45 minutes, I was on my way with exactly what I wanted. For all that work, he only charged me $45. I am thrilled there is an AR centric retail outlet in my neighborhood. Based on all the boxes of product being shipped out, it looks like they will be around a while. I would recommend them if you need any AR work done.
