Last time I was out there working was when we played USC in the big one and got whipped. Of course I had an OU shirt for every day of the week and proudly wore them. The Friday before the big game we all (from work) went to a somewhat upscale sports bar somewhere in the Brea/Yorba Linda area. I went to the bathroom and it was down a narrow hall and this old drunk guy on his way out in passing shouted Oohh Youu?I said: Boomer Sooner Baby! He just laughed as he headed back to his beer. One of the owners offered to bend some regent's ears and get my kids into USC if I moved them out there. He was a successful alumni and and fairly well connected. We had a bunch of good natured ribbing back and forth that year I was there. They were all pretty laid back in Orange County back then. Don't know about now and I ain't going back to find out how bad it's gotten.</blockquote>
