Over in "General Discussions," recent comments have come from others saying that I should keep in touch and keep showing Colorado pictures after we move there this coming month. However, I wouldn't want to start a new thread that was related mostly to me, so I want to start this one in which everyone can post their pictures taken in Colorado. That way, I will also benefit, especially if other photographers mention where their photos were taken, thus giving me a new place to check out while we are living up there. However, I get to fail in informing well with my first photo to show here, because I don't recall exactly where this one was taken. I think it was taken on highway 133, east of Paonia, Colorado. Now, I do want to point out that the idea here is to not necessarily limit ourselves only to scenic and wildlife. If anyone has photos taken at museums or other places, I would encourage that those be posted as well. Along that line, this image was taken at Michael Garman's Magic Town in Colorado Springs. He has created (sculpted) a city scene that is really interesting to see. One can be looking at one part of the "city" or even inside a building's window and see one scene, only to then have the light change and an entirely different scene appears in the same window or part of the city. Yeppers, it is all done with lights and mirrors. I plan on returning there when we get up there and get better shots than what I show here. From what I understand, everything here is sculpted, including the bricks on the buildings and this cigarette machine.
