So I'm at orientation with a new company this week. When the subject of guns came up, I asked if he knew of the law passed in the past few years allowing guns on property set aside for vehicles. He did and even knew the history and lawsuits involved. But he went on to tell me that since the parking lot is within a fence that surrounds the property, the law did not apply. The gate never closes and there is no other parking. I've found nothing that makes this kind of exception, is there one or a ruling I don't know about? I asked him if he could find out who and why he was told this so we could both learn from this, and he said he will. He seems like a good guy, and I think he'll look into it too.
