Well, the average car would take about 200 for gas to travel that far. Let's just assume you have a half full tank. I would go to the truck stop and top off first, fill the back with gas cans, spend the rest on food, and drive home. Or at least try to.

Bike, plug/patch kit, air pump, backpack, sleeping bag, backpacking tent, water, fishing pole, line, hooks, lures, water filtration system, cheap food that can be bought in quantity and will not spoil like cheese and crackers, sardines, McDonald's burgers, etc., duct tape, rope/paracord, map, and more ammo for the gun(s) I have with me if I can find it... and I would be headed home.

Heading home, Map, compass, disposable lighters, good pair of shoes or boots, extra pair of socks, poncho or tarp. Should have my gun and a pocket knife already. Machete or small ax, beef jerky and dry beans. I figure to walk it and make a straight line, scavenge where and what I can, steal what I must. But travel as light as possible.

I drive a car with a 4 banger, and have my bicycle wherever I go anyways. I have a rack and panniers on my bike large enough to carry an AR split into upper/lower. I'll have a pistol and pocket knife as well. I keep an airline blanket, sleeping bag, and extra socks and warming layers in my car. Should start keeping a life straw too it seems. Drive for as long as I can feed my car, then bike.

If I'm that far away, I've likely flown myself. The answer would be to fly home.

An EMP won't affect the electronics in an aircraft because there are very few and those that are there are protected. Most piston GA airplanes don't even need a battery to run the engine (they use magneto's). control towers all across the country would revert back to either light signals, or use off grid ground radios (like another airplane on the ground).

Keep in mind a simple Faraday cage will protect against an EMP. It's one of the reasons an EMP is not practical as a weapon.

Also, keep in mind that an EMP large enough to incapacitate medium sized electronics (anything larger than a lunch box - which doesn't include vehicle electronics like ECU's and MCU's housed in metal containers, inside metal cars) it would take a nuclear explosion on the order of 5 or more megatons with a proximity so close to you and your single-human troubles that the EMP part of the blast would be the last thing you would be worrying about.

There is a report i read that said RPNK has developed a nuclear weapon that is only used for an EMP attack. It is reportedly very high yield 5-10 megaton used just to produce a emp.

they are not the only ones. Iran has been also. i think alot of those long range ballistic missile fails they had were not fails. what the government didnt say was they all exploded at a certain height. put that missile and launcher on a container ship put it in the gulf of mexico then launch...no warning and the US would be back to the 1800's
