There isn't anything I can do to prevent anything like this from happening.  It's horrible that the best response we can give is to "be prepared".  As someone who is recently married and considering having children in the near future, how am I supposed to prepare my child for the idea that at any time of any day someone could walk into their school and start shooting at them and there isn't anything they can do other than know to run away.  I would have thought my parents were crazy if they would have tried to tell me that when I was that young.  I am so sad for the families who have experienced such a loss today.</blockquote>
