As I stated many times, my interest was drawn by the timing. Then it was the repeated and repeated references to Federal response, government services "there for you", emphasis on how "fast" response time was to the call. Officers on the scene within a minute and FBI/ATF there lickty-split. It was just ODD - it just seemed to be slanted towards "the government is there for you in your time of need and we'll take care of you". This is what I considered fishy - it seemed like a promotion of the goverment as your protector. On the other hand, we know the saying "don't let a tragedy go to waste". So I do accept the possibility of a simple explanation (as I've stated above). We know the Feds have many fabricated "terrorists plots" that they foil in the nick of time. Did this one get away from them? Dunno. Has it happened before? Yep. Was the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry as it seemed on the surface - or result of the Fast & Furious operation? By your logic, the murder of the agent was a clear cut case of drug runner-killing-agent with no further investigation required. There is a reason to investigate incidents instead of taking them at face value - wouldn't you say? IF you start to look at deeper involvement by others (i.e. conspiracy), what are the motives? What would those involved have to gain?
