I was raised on a cattle ranch too but I was a South Texican. This is as far north as I'm going on a permanent basis. lol. Here is a picture of my custom "pitboss" I designed myself. Only one like it.And, It can damn well stay out there empty.

Well I didn't make this...

But one of the girls that helps with Sweetie (same one that brought chicken-fried pork steak the other day) brought me home-made chili, cornbread, and grated cheese this evening. I'm gonna tackle it soon as I rest a bit.

These girls are spoilin' me somethin' fierce...

CHILI UPDATE

Methinks I've just been to chili paradise...

The girl told me this morning that her StepDad was browning chili meat, and she'd bring me some this evening. So it's been cooking/simmering all day long.

Man, it was good. I mean really good. I haven't had chili that good since Sweetie was cooking, which has been several years now.

Man, it was good.
